Via Blackhawk Network’s robust offerings, OXXO now provides a wide variety of gift cards to Mexicans in more than 19,000 OXXO stores
PLEASANTON, Calif. – October 1, 2020 – Global branded payments provider Blackhawk Network has been awarded OXXO's “Development of New Electronic Business Models” honor. Winners were selected for their capabilities in developing new business avenues, competitive differentiators, sustainable growth and greater client satisfaction for OXXO.
The honor was awarded to Blackhawk for helping the retailer optimize its gift card program, including creating more robust in-store displays that offer customers a wider variety of gift card choices. Additionally, Blackhawk collaborated with OXXO and retail brands whose cards are sold in their stores to create and manage value-added promotions tailored to rewarding shoppers seasonally or based on brands’ strategies. Blackhawk also helped OXXO regularly communicate with shoppers in-store and via its digital channels about contests for which winners received gift and prepaid cards.
