Blackhawk Rounds Up its Employees for a Country Shindig
October 26, 2016
On October 6, 2016, Blackhawk Network rounded up its employees for its annual company event. This year’s outing was held at the Alameda Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA and had a country western theme. Employees were encouraged to wear their cowboy hats and boots, and join their colleagues for an afternoon of good ‘ol country fun.
At high noon, employees were treated to a country-style BBQ with all of the fixings, followed by a few rounds of do-si-do’ing on the dance floor with a “Dancing Cowboy.” Those with two left feet moseyed on over to the bumper cars and practiced their aim at the shooting gallery, while the adventurous saddled up on the bungee bull ride and tried their hands at the skillet throwing competition. Other entertainment highlights included a cow milking competition and a “Hip-A-Dee-Hop” horse race.
A big tip of the hat to Blackhawk’s HR department for a knee slapping good time!
