Blackhawk’s Annual Summit Was a Huge Success!
We’ve just wrapped up the 2014 Blackhawk Network Summit and annual Hawk Awards. We were so pleased to be joined by hundreds of influential leaders and top partners in the prepaid industry. Key vendors were on hand to offer their innovative and ground-breaking production and execution expertise, giving us new ways to look at our business.
Our industry is evolving so fast, and it was great to get insights from Blackhawk executives into where prepaid is going and how to capitalize on some of the changes that are just around the corner. Talbott Roche, President of Blackhawk Network, was also able to give us a fresh look at what today’s consumers really want in terms of all types of prepaid so that we have a better idea of how to develop, market, deliver and display products for maximum impact.
One of the most important aspects of our annual Summit is bringing together distribution partners and content partners. This year, we were able to facilitate more than 800 one-on-one strategic planning meetings.
And the networking didn’t end there. Our golf tournament offered plenty of opportunity to mix business and pleasure on the course. Then there was Wednesday night’s 80’s style “Blackhawk Golf & Tennis Club” that gave everyone time to relax and have some fun in the company of colleagues.
Celebrating the best of the best in the prepaid industry is fast becoming a favorite part of the Summit, and this year was no exception. On Thursday night, we went mid-century modern at our Hawk Awards Gala to recognize the individuals and organizations that are setting new standards of excellence with their prepaid products and programs.
At the end of each Summit, it’s always gratifying to know that we’ve been able to bring together so many valued partners and share thoughts on how to keep prepaid a thriving part of their business.
