We believe community is what happens when companies and organizations build real connections with people. That’s why we build solutions that help companies give back to those in need. From gift cards that donate to charity to fast disaster relief tools and sponsoring professional organizations, we work to make things better.
Our multi-merchant gift cards make great gifts—and 3% of every card goes to the charitable partner on the card, including organizations like Habitat for Humanity®, Make-A-Wish® and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital®.
Our Payments for Good initiative helps governments and nonprofits quickly and easily distribute disaster recovery funds. Hundreds of thousands of prepaid and gift cards have already been sent to families in the US, UK and Australia in response to natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Championing women in business is critical to workplace equality. At Blackhawk Network, we're proud that almost half of our senior leadership team is comprised of woman, and that our workforce has near-equal balance of men and women.
We sponsor professional organizations like Women in Payments, a professional organization that aims to empower women in the payments industry around the world. We are active supporters of other initiatives that support the advancement of women in our industry.
We've also launched a new podcast series with Women's Network of Electronic Transactions.
Our employees are also involved in causes that are important to them. That's why we support our BEMADE program, which gives all non-exempt employees up to 16 hours of paid time off to volunteer. Blackhawk Network employees have contributed more than 13,000 volunteer hours through this program. It's one more way that Blackhawk Network helps build meaningful connections.
