Spooktakular Fun During BlackhawkHallo-week
October 30, 2014
Blackhawk is celebrating Halloween this year with a week full of activities and décor. If you visit our corporate office this week, you can’t miss the decorations everywhere you look as each department tries to outdo the others. It is an annual tradition at Blackhawk to make the most of this exciting and fun holiday.
Throughout the week, employees can participate in activities that encourage cross department networking and allow folks to enjoy their co-workers in engaging ways, such as the daily trivia game, with opportunities to win fun prizes. Our ever-popular chili cook-off is open to all employees who want to show off their devilishly tasty culinary skills. And what would Halloween be without scary, silly, and creatively carved pumpkins? We’ll be showcasing our sculpted gourds throughout the office to demonstrate our creative and outgoing personalities.
One of the highlights of this festive week is when we get to see how creative our co-workers are when it comes to Halloween costumes. All are encouraged to come to work on Halloween in their scariest, most unique, silly or shocking costumes. Creativity and presentation is key to wow the executive judges as they determine the costume contest winners, giving them bragging rights for an entire year!
To end the week, we’ll turn over our offices to the little ghosts and goblins (children of our employees) for trick-or-treating and lots of fun activities. Employees are encouraged to bring their children to see the office decorations and get an early start on their candy haul. Giggles and sticky fingers take over and it’s a total blast!
This week will be frightfully fun as Blackhawk employees celebrate Halloween with activities from A to Zombie.
