Blackhawk Network, the global market leader in payments, rewards and incentives, has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Voucher Schemes framework. The appointment came after a competitive tender process and will be in place for an initial period of two years. Through the framework, Blackhawk Network can support government departments, local authorities, and schools with the distribution of vouchers to their beneficiaries, as well as any potential incentive programmes with the general public.
Helping the public sector distribute vital funds
Local councils and government groups will be able to offer recipients a range of eGifts for essential items such as food, clothing, activities, and IT equipment through Blackhawk Network’s Select platform. Those eligible will be issued with personalised Select codes which can be redeemed online. Users will be able to choose where they redeem their value based on their locality, making it simple for them to access the items they need most.
This project forms part of the Blackhawk Network Payments for Good initiative, developed to help government organisations, charities and non-profits distribute critical funding to those in need. Drawing on its global experience in prepaid cards, gift cards & digital codes, Blackhawk Network understands how to disburse funds in a format where it can have the most positive impact on communities and recipients.
